Functions:
- To prepare and implement the regulatory basis of the Budgetary Unit based on its mission and in compliance with the legislation in force in the country that corresponds to it by law.
- To direct and guide the actions of the different areas of the Budgetary Unit for the efficient fulfillment of the assigned missions.
- Plan, accumulate, store, rotate, maintain, preserve and respond for the physical integrity, quality and control of food and material reserves for contingencies.
- To guarantee that the main productions and services it develops are carried out in accordance with what has been approved in its corporate purpose.
- To establish the functions and duty to be developed by each level of management in the Budgetary Unit in accordance with the established structure and to select the appropriate personnel to carry them out.
- Organize and control the security and physical protection system, plan the measures to be taken in order to preserve the school's equipment, means, materials and information.
- Organize the process of preparing the annual budget of the school in all its categories, break it down by month and control its execution.
- Prepare the Budget Unit's accounting manual and ensure its correct application.
- Prepare and implement the procedure for the economic and workforce recruitment of the Unit.
- To periodically issue the financial statements in accordance with the established requirements in terms of time, quality and veracity.
- Assess the financial ratios obtained in the management of the unit and ensure that the necessary measures are in place to eradicate deviations.
- Design and implement the internal control system based on current legislation.
- To guarantee, according to the provisions of each case, the payment of the corresponding taxes of the Budgetary Unit in time and form.
