The work of CENDA at present is essentially aimed at providing an adequate legal context in the system of relations that are established around the use of intellectual works and the exercise of copyright. Its main tasks are linked to:

- La emisión de licencias de uso de obras.
- El registro de obras.
- La emisión de los dictámenes legales y disposiciones aclaratorias.
- La solución de reclamaciones.
CENDA pays attention to the training of specialists in the field of copyright, through the participation and implementation of courses and training, and the permanent increase of its bibliographic collections.
