It was created on February 28, 1983, with the objective of researching and promoting contemporary visual arts in Aforica, Middle East, Asia, Latinamerican and Carribean, as well.as difussion of Wilfredo Lam's paintings.

It is an enterprise of the Ministry of Culture with the mission of producing and selling the necesary articles for artists, creators, painters, musicians, and filmmakers.

Nationa Council of Cultural Houses was created in 1991under the name of National Center for Culltural Community Works. Its main objective is supervising cultural work in each community of Cuba.

The Artistic Agency of Escenic Arts is anenterprise organization for representing artists and trading teikhnical - artistic services. It is a part of the National Coiuncil of Escenic Arts and belongs to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cuba.
This agency was founded on July 1, 1979, under the administration of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT) and since 1986 , it is a part of de National Council of Escenic Arts.

Cultural institution in charge of promoting the development of theatrical and danzing groups in Cuba. It pays attention to several institutions and more than hundred of theater, dancing, lyric canto, ppantomime, humorous and cirque. It promotes also the work of Specialized Magazine Tablas, the Research Center of Escenic Arts, Escenarte Enterprise and Tecnoescena.

The National Theater of Cuba is a modern building located at Revolution Square in Havana. It was opened as a Cultural Complex on September 3, 1979, it is a harmonic union between useful and aesthetic, nowadays it is a Recreational Cultural Center, and promotes dancing, dramatic arts, music, plastic arts, not only national but also international.
